My second boat was a 24.5 Bayliner with a cuddy cabin. that is the one which took me from Sault Ste Marie to Punta Gorda Florida . Back then it was simple . Just bought a boat with a name a radio and numbers on it and Ahoy there Punta Gorda

After my voyage down The Mississippi to The Gulf of Mexico it dawned on me that there just might be more than One Old Man and The Sea ~ Or at The Bottom of IT~ How God Though me a lesson~ I was grieving the loss of my wife and danger was not an issue Day or Night ~drunk or sober~ When I arrived at Mobile Alabama my engine had to be removed for a pinhole on the dipstick caused by Electrolysis. When I arrived at Punta Gorda Florida late in the evening ~I asked for mooring space for a year and Mary the Dock Master replied what makes you think you can have a place for the night ? My boat died and it took me a day to get to my space on Dock C `THE ENGINE would not TURN OVER~ having navigated 1700 hundred miles ~The distance of The Euphrates ~My Tiger Lily and RAZMATAZ would make WOlF look like a Lap Dog with my Crew of One~ A Sea Dog with his mouth shut lives to be an Old Salty !~ Do not let the Wolf make your Dreams Like a SIRENE as the entire story hides a Titanic Story for many who spent their retirement years anchored in a Marina on a voyage to nowhere ~Trust me Capt'n Fern ~but above all TRUST IN GOD and ALSO ABIDE IN HIM~ ~ ~
